Illegal Hunting Monitoring

On 18th February 2005, hunting and coursing with dogs finally became illegal in England and Wales. It was a massive step forwards to the creation of a more humane and decent society.

Within weeks of the ban coming in effect we have received excellent information on which hunts are continuing to kill wildlife for fun and those hunts which are making a genuine attempt to convert to drag hunting. Hunt Crimewatch - League Against Cruel Sports

The League and its supporters monitor hunts to ensure that they are not breaking the law. League Hunt monitors were responsible for the first conviction for illegal hunting.
